Philippine Medicine Prices

NAMFREL believes that transparency in medicine prices can guide the government in making medicines affordable. Under NAMFREL’s Medicine Monitoring Project, we were able to get information on medicine prices.

This site shows a comparison of awarded bid prices of medicines from winning suppliers, who regularly bids out in selected 72 Department of Health retained hospitals*.

The Department of Health’s price monitoring only entails 37 essential drugs. There are more than 600 essential drugs listed in the Philippine National Drug Formulary (PNDF)*.
