CAC’s programs are anchored on four principal strategies:
1. Prevention entails monitoring of goods, services, and equipment in selected agencies as well as the delivery of basic services. Pro-active participation is encouraged in the supported projects. 2. Education enables volunteers to learn knowledge and skills in tracking and reporting corruption. It includes massive grassroots communications campaign to build a culture of antipathy against corruption and to recruit new volunteers. 3. Prosecution aims to catch the big fish. Only by indicting, convicting, and jailing a corrupt high official would we convince the public that there is hope in overcoming corruption in this country. 4. Sustainability intends to build a Governance Investment Fund for Transparency (GIFT) that will help sustain our anti-corruption initiatives. |
